September is here which means only one thing – time to bring out the fall decorations! I’m not one to wait to make the fall transition, I love the cozy materials and warm scents that scream ‘Fall is here”! Today we’re going to dive into this year’s fall decor trends that we are loving!
1. Fall Foliage
Leaves, pumpkins, and acorns galore! We love all things fall foliage, but with a creative spin for 2021. All of these things do not have to be in the typical colors of orange, yellow, and brown. Brighten up your fall foliage with whites, creams, and light greens to modernize the look. Continue working within this trend by playing with textures, too!
2. Velvet Textures
What is more Fall than soft, luxurious velvet? To bring in the cozy vibes of fall, incorporate velvet textures where you can. In the market for a new couch? Try out a velvet upholstered one! Do you add pillows to your bed or couches during the change of the season? Throw in some velvet ones!
3. Cozy Knits
Ready to curl up on the couch with a cozy knit blanket and a good book? I sure am! The texture and large nature of a chunky knit blanket help cultivate the fall vibes in your home. You can also incorporate this trend with poufs in your living spaces, pillows, and in your wardrobe!
4. Candles
In my home, you can’t have fall without candles – so I was very pleased to see that candles are a 2021 fall trend! Now of course, we all are drawn to the beautiful fall scents, but this trend is also about the ambience that they create. Get creative with different votives and lanterns throughout your home. Create dimension in your decor with candles of different heights, colors, and textures.
